Forgiveness – What Can I Try?

20 November 2025

Forgiveness takes practice — it’s not about forgetting or excusing but about freeing yourself from what no longer serves you. Here are a few simple ways to start:
🕊️ Find meaning: Spend 20–30 minutes writing about a situation that still weighs on you. Reflect on what you’ve learned and how you might grow from it. Is holding on helping — or holding you back?
💪 Build your forgiveness muscles: Try not to speak negatively about those who’ve hurt you. You don’t have to say kind things — just choose silence over criticism. Each time you do, you strengthen your forgiving heart.
💛 Gift mercy: If you’re holding a grudge, try to see the other person as a human being who made a mistake. We all have moments of poor judgment — and we all deserve the chance to learn from them.
Forgiveness isn’t a single act — it’s a daily practice of compassion, strength, and release. 🌼
