Mindfulness doesn’t have to mean long meditation sessions or perfect stillness. Small, intentional moments throughout the day can make a big difference.
1. Start your day with intention
Before reaching for your phone, take three deep breaths and set a gentle intention for the day ahead.
2. Practise mindful eating
Slow down. Notice the flavours, textures, and how your body feels as you eat — not just what’s on your plate.
3. Try a walking meditation
As you walk, pay attention to your steps, the air on your skin, and the sounds around you.
4. Pause before reacting
In moments of stress or conflict, take one conscious breath before responding. That pause can change everything.
5. Do a daily check-in
Ask yourself: “What am I feeling right now?” and “What do I need?” Listen without judgement.
6. Connect with nature
Spend time outdoors noticing the small details — leaves, birdsong, the breeze. Let nature bring you back to the present moment.
Mindfulness lives in ordinary moments. The more we notice them, the more grounded and connected we become. 🫶
