Day 10 – Gratitude – Power of YOU Challenge
When times get tough we often go to the negative, but if we focus on gratitude, we are focusing on the positive. Expressing our gratitude, even for the little things we value is a great way of increasing wellbeing. So, what’s benefit of being grateful? People who practise gratitude can exchange fears, worries and self pity for contentment. Gratitude reduces stress. Being grateful, meaning it and then expressing it improves relationships. Gratitude helps reduce toxic emotions like envy, resentment and regret. Expressing gratitude can help others and make them feel good.
