Schools across the Upper Hunter will be a sea of colour on Monday celebrating the second annual ‘Colour Your Threads For Pos Ed day’ and we’re VERY EXCITED to announce that this initiative is now spreading around the world.
Students in Singapore & Dubai will also be donning colourful clothes to highlight the powerful role Positive Education can play in improving mental health and wellbeing. Gold coin donations will also help raise funds for disadvantaged schools to implement Positive Education initiatives.
WTAW launched the campaign last year in conjunction with PESA (Australia’s Positive Education School’s Association) and it has been given a major push by the International Positive Education Network.
This is pretty incredible, it’s something everyone in the Upper Hunter should be proud of and we can’t wait to see colour everywhere next week!!
Check out our Facebook Page for all the photos of participating schools – lots and lots of FUN!!!!
